Mothers Against Dog Chaining is a newly-formed initiative of Dogs Deserve Better, and is led by DDB founder Tammy Grimes and Crystal Sinclair, mother of Makayla Sinclair who was killed by chained Great Danes in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, in October of 2003.

Both Tammy, (shown here with daughter Brynnan, Bo—who was the reason for Dogs Deserve Better—and Courage, their black cat) and Crystal, shown below with Makayla shortly before her death, are available for speaking engagements, either in the media or for your local council or community group. They will initially speak together until Crystal feels more comfortable with her new role...she's been through so much and has a new baby, Logan, at home too.

Please contact Tammy at 814.941.7447 or Tammy@mothersagainstdogchaining.org if you'd like to book them for your organization.

The duo was in Spartansburg, South Carolina for their initial debut demonstration, Monday, June 13th, at 3:00 p.m. This took place at the County Courthouse:

Administration Building
Main Level, Suite 1000
366 North Church Street
Spartanburg, SC 29303
