Dolan Miller's Photos, Story:
On June 11, 2005, my 3 1/2 yr. old son was seriously injuried by a 2 yr old Akita that was constantly on a chain outside. This dog belonged to a guy my husband works with and my son has played with him many times. My son was rushed to the local hospital and they immediately called Childrens of Columbus, Ohio. Childrens hospital sent their mobile ICU unit to get my son. They considered Careflight but decided not to because he had a punctured lung. My son received 8 broken ribs, punctured lung, 7 wounds on his back and side. When he arrived at Childrens, the trauma doctor explained to us that our son needs blood immediately. Without a blood transfusion, he may not have made it. My son, Dolan, spent 5 days in the hospital. I have attached pictures of my son injuries. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Jessica Miller
